Abstract
In this paper, a novel intuitionistic fuzzy framework for evaluation and rank ordering the multi-issue negotiation offers has been introduced and studied. First, it is assumed that the assessment of the negotiation options occurs in bipolar terms due to the advantages and disadvantages of using the intuitionistic fuzzy concept. Next, the Intuitionistic Fuzzy Ideal Reference Point (IFIRP) multi-criteria method, based on the Hellwig concept of pattern, is proposed for ordering offers from the best to the worst. The advantage of the approach is using natural language, taking into consideration subjectivity, lack of precision, or uncertainty in the evaluation of negotiation offers. Additionally, the pattern based on maximal fuzzy value avoids rank reversal when a new offer is added for evaluation. The illustrative example demonstrates the practicality and effectiveness of the intuitionistic fuzzy evaluation negotiation offers.
