Abstract
The results of the decision support tools that were offered to the decision makers in solving the multiple criteria decision making problem. Using experimental data we examine how do they explain the fact that the final decision support tool they chose as most accurate produced the ranking different from the one the decision maker declared beforehand, prior to decision making process, as reflecting their preferences best. We found that self-serving bias is not common in highly involving decision support system and may depend on the actual task and its consequentiality.
